Our story A few years ago, my brother and I purchased 3 beehives to pollinate the orchards on the farm and also to finally put into practice the years of study on this fascinating subject: beekeeping. The comments of friends and relatives, the first discoverers of our honey, were of encouraging enthusiasm for the entire days dedicated to this passion. Over the years, this small circle has expanded somewhat and those who taste our products experience the same joyful satisfaction as those who rediscover a pure flavour. Our secret has been and remains only one: "do not modify what nature has already produced perfectly". Even today, with more than 200 hives, we proudly continue along the same path, aware of the difficulties of those who have made quality their vocation. Honey, an extremely precious and nutritious element, was already in the past one of the very first foods of the man and furthermore, before the appearance of sugar cane, it represented the only sweetener in nature. The many substances that compose it, including mineral salts, vitamins, enzymes, "complex" and "simple" sugars (which can be assimilated directly by the body), make it one of the most genuine and healthy foods for our daily diet. After the bees have stored it in the hive, it is extracted by centrifuging it and, after decantation in the ripeners, it is put into jars. As the temperature drops, depending on the different botanical origin, it begins to cloud and tends to crystallize. Even today we adopt this natural process, as necessary for the authenticity of a living food, respecting a correct and professional condition of families throughout the year. In fact, speaking of Whole Virgin Honey, we underline that this product retains all its natural nutritional properties, having not undergone any treatment capable of modifying them. To obtain honey of different botanical origins, the hives are taken to the respective blooms. This operation is called "nomadism" and as with other agricultural activities, weather conditions play a crucial role. This is why the selection of our honeys, as well as their respective characteristics, may vary depending on the year.
