In 1907 in Castellazzo Bormida, Giovan Battista Giraudi, opens its activity with a mill and an oven for baking, meanwhile Paolino Boas, is formed as a pastry chef at Romano Pastry Alexandria and at the end of the fifties detects a pastry shop in the center Castellazzo Bormida.
In the sixties Giraudi detects the Victory Bar in Corso Roma and begins to experiment recipes with chocolate. Mandrugnin, nugatelli and macaroons are the first step in a process of growth and success.
In 1982 Giacomo Boidi, grandson of Giraudi chocolatier, pastry chef and Boidi, combines the respective arts, becoming the owner of "Pastry Giraudi".
Since the mid-nineties we see the results of much hard work thanks to the cooperation and exchange with important personalities from the world of food and wine and trusted collaborators.
Since 1993, the bakery moved in the center of Castellazzo Bormida, in the province of Alexandria.
From this moment changes the fate of the small workshop "Pastry Giraudi" becomes more structured company, without being overwhelmed by the popularity and keeping production in the handicraft.
Giacomo Boidi invests all his enthusiasm, his resources and his creativity in this new adventure, and starting from the teachings of his uncles, great and generous teachers, adds its own entrepreneurial spirit and ambition for a larger project that brings great results: sales growth in Italy and abroad will further push to move forward towards a new stage.
In September of 2005 Giraudi inaugurates the actual laboratory, in a concealed area from Castellazzo Bormida center, equipped with a large work space at sight, a room for lectures and an elegant café and chocolate boutique to sample the freshly made products.
Another step towards growth, change and the desire to always offer the best service to its customers.
