For over six generations Cantarelli has been selecting and maturing the best Parmigiano Reggiano and Grana Padano. After almost 150 years, the presence of the Cantarelli family guarantees the possibility of tasting an excellent product in all its aspects, rich in ancient fragrances and perfumes thanks to the particular seasoning that has always been carried out in their stone warehouses built at the end of the 19th century . The maturing warehouses, a true jewel in terms of aesthetics and environmental characteristics and profound experience, allow us to offer a Parmigiano Reggiano and a Grana Padano that conform in flavour, aroma and fragrance to the authentic ancient tradition of the product. Parmigiano Reggiano comes only from the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Parma, while Grana Padano comes only from the provinces of Mantua and Brescia. The peculiarity in the refinement of the cheeses distinguishes us substantially from other brands on the market, the cheese matures in a natural balance of temperature and humidity. Thanks to this process it expels excess humidity, especially the residual whey from processing, enhancing its fragrance and aroma. The use of a refined preservation technology guarantees that the aromas and fragrances of this type of maturation are preserved over time, even after cutting. The type of packaging used keeps the cheese vacuum-packed through an impenetrable aluminum barrier, which allows us to guarantee a 2-year shelf life and long-term freshness-saving preservation even after opening.
