What is behind the Iperespresso system?
Iperespresso is the illy solution for easy preparation of espresso in your own four walls. The most intense flavors are extracted from the Iperespresso capsule using cutting-edge technology. The machines specially developed for this purpose are as beautiful as they are efficient: there are many models in different designs, colors and functions that have the right solution for every need.

The new design of the Y3.3 model: The project was conceived by architect and designer Piero Lissoni. Thanks to espresso and coffee technology, it is possible to prepare both espresso and filtered coffee. The volume of the coffee and the heat of the cup can be individually adjusted.

How do you manage to make the illy blend so fragrant?
All our packaging is airtight: inert gas is supplied to the canister at a pressure higher than the air pressure. Thanks to this process, the aromas of the coffee particles are bound. The effect is surprising: the aroma is not only preserved, but also refined over time, similar to wine that matures in barrels.
