Description

The shape responds to very specific needs, aimed at carrying out decanting in the simplest and most correct way. The mouth is particularly pronounced to facilitate the passage of wine from the bottle to the decanter; the neck is rather narrow to force the wine to fan out towards the base of the decanter, traveling along its internal walls and thus starting to enrich itself with oxygen; the very wide base has a double function: to generate a notable exchange of oxygen between the surface of the wine and the air, thus perfecting the important phase of oxygenation and to reduce the thickness of the wine to facilitate visual examination.
