Push the spout down to the OPEN position. Cut the fruit to be juiced in half, so you can easily place it on the cone. Lift your hand from the fruit to stop the engine. To prevent residual juice from dripping when you change glasses, or in any case after use, push the spout upwards to the CLOSED position.
