Designed by Michele De Lucchi, the Plissà© kettle already declares in its name the nature of its peculiar design: an object in which the functional aspects translate into a series of formal details with fascinating lines, elegant and light like a haute couture dress . Composed of a body equipped with lid and handle, resting on a retractable power base. The spout is completed with an internal filter. SUSTAINABILITY AND SAFETY: A device cuts off the electricity supply if the kettle is turned on with an insufficient quantity or in the absence of water, avoiding possible damage. The bottom of the kettle is thermally insulated: therefore, after the water has reached the boiling point, it can be placed without risk on any surface. Inside the pouring spout there is a filter which retains any limescale particles formed inside the kettle. The handle allows a firm and safe grip. USE AND MAINTENANCE: [Easy to use] Open the lid of the kettle by slightly moving the knob that acts as the opening button backwards. The operation is facilitated by the shape of the knob which has a slight recess which facilitates the pressure exerted by the finger to open the lid. Place the kettle under the tap and fill the kettle with the quantity of water you intend to use. Do not exceed the maximum level indicated by the MAX symbol inside the kettle. Close the kettle by lowering the lid completely until it "clicks". Press the ON/OFF lever switch. The ON/OFF lever switch lights up: the water heating cycle begins. The kettle switches off automatically a few seconds after the water has reached boiling. To turn off the kettle before it reaches boiling, lift the kettle from the power base. The kettle detaches easily and quickly from the power base. [Easy to clean] Rinse the inside under running water and dry. For the exterior and the power base, use a damp cloth and a non-aggressive detergent. Do not place the kettle under running water and do not immerse it in water. Do not wash the kettle in the dishwasher. [Easy to maintain over time] To prolong the life of your kettle, descale regularly by cleaning the kettle with a mixture of water and vinegar. The filter can be removed, washed under running water or in the dishwasher and then replaced in its seat.
